Office of the Attorney General

The Attorney General Office is made up of four staff members who have at least one semester of experience on the Judicial Board Hearing Panel. The Attorney General Office is responsible for meeting with and preparing University witness(es) prior to a Judicial Board hearing by reviewing procedures and answering any questions regarding witness testimony, but does not speak in place of the University witness(es). A member of the Attorney General staff attends hearings with witness(es), guides witness(es) through Judicial Board proceedings, and encourages witness(es) to be truthful.

During the Judicial Board hearing, the Attorney General staff member is responsible for providing the Judicial Board Hearing Panel with information on the accused student’s prior conduct history, if applicable, and if the student is found responsible for the current violation(s).
