At the September 28th senate meeting the Senate approved of the following resolution,

The University of North Carolina at Charlotte
Student Government Association

Recognizing the community of Charlotte is not connected with the students of UNC Charlotte

Realizing that the Student Savings Club provides a strong framework for students to interact with the community while receiving discounts and saving money

Emphasizing students only need to show their ID card to receive the discounts offered by the program

Considering that the Student Savings Club does all of the advertising themselves through Facebook ads, posters for students, and press releases for the UTimes

Bearing in Mind If we decide to approve this resolution we will be the first institution in the Carolinas to use this program. If we do decide to join this program one's student id is valid at any location in the nation who is affiliated with student savings club

Taking into account the history of success that the Student Savings Club has had in other markets,
